Leveling System Options for Motor Homes

Lichtsinn Motors, located one mile from the Winnebago factory, has been servicing motor homes for many years. A lot of our customers will travel from all over the country to have their service needs taken care of by our factory-trained service department. One of the things that is regularly checked is the leveling system. Winnebago and Itasca has used several different leveling manufacturers over the years: HWH, LCI (Lippert Components Incorporated) and Power Gear.

Leveling systems have changed over the years from manual leveling to the now common automatic leveling systems. The touch pads have become user friendly, giving digital readings to help the user level their coach. Whether it is a hydraulic, electric  or manual leveling system, our service department will be able to help you troubleshoot any situation.

Winnebago Industries has seen a dramatic increase in popularity to the Sprinter chassis. This chassis, manufactured by Mercedes-Benz, does not have an option for a leveling system from Winnebago Industries. We are often asked, “How do I level my Class C Sprinter?” Lichtsinn Motors has developed a close relationship with HWH Inc., who is able to install a leveling system on most motor homes. Due to our relationship with HWH, we can help you get discounted pricing when you schedule your installation with Lichtsinn Motors. Simply contact one of our factory-trained sales consultants for more information on leveling options for any motor home that does not have a leveling system – just call 1-800-343-6255.
