Automatic Generator Start on the Newmar Freedom Aire Video
The Newmar Freedom Aire features Automatic Generator Start (AGS), a convenient system designed to automatically start the generator when certain conditions are met. Once power or temperature levels return to the selected range, the generator automatically shuts off.
AGS can be configured to monitor low house battery levels and start the generator when additional charging is needed. It can also respond to high interior temperatures, allowing the generator to power the air conditioning when needed, which can provide added peace of mind when pets are inside the RV.
Time-based settings allow you to control when the generator can operate, making it easier to accommodate campground quiet hours.
Automatic Generator Start can help maintain battery power and support important appliances and HVAC systems while traveling or camping off-grid. The feature must first be enabled through the Freedom Aire control panel, where you can select trigger points for battery level, interior temperature, and operating times.
