Hanson, founder of Winnebago Industries, and recounts how Lichtsinn RV first became a Winnebago Motorhome dealer.
In 1976, Ron Lichtsinn Sr. purchased Teslow Chevrolet and rebranded it as Lichtsinn Motors. Three years later, Lichtsinn Motors began selling Winnebago Vans. After a conversation and handshake with John K. Hanson, Lichtsinn Motors expanded to offer Winnebago Conversion Vans. Shortly thereafter, John K. Hanson encouraged Ron Lichtsinn Sr. to begin selling Winnebago Motorhomes. As demand for Winnebago Motorhomes continued to grow, Lichtsinn RV strengthened its commitment to the brand, building expertise in sales, parts, service, and, most importantly, long-term customer support.
In 2026, Lichtsinn RV celebrates its 50th anniversary, marking five decades of helping guests through every stage of RV ownership. Today, the Lichtsinn RV family of owners spans North America.
