Residential build quality is then used in the construction of the sidewalls with 16 inch on center C-channel aluminum studs which are used for better insulation and the ability to run 12V and 120V electrical lines directly through the studs.
Every Newmar Freedom Aire features premium Azdel composite sidewall construction combined with laminated block foam insulation. At 2 ¾ inch thickness, the Freedom Aire offers some of the thickest insulated sidewalls in the RV industry, matching the same insulation standards used in the Newmar King Aire diesel pushers. This delivers the highest RV values of any luxury Class C RV with R-19 roof insulation, R-11 sidewall insulation, and R-4 basement and floor insulation.
Newmar cabinetry and appliances are mounted into metal, not wood like competing manufacturers, using laser-welded anchors integrated into the sidewall structure for superior strength.

This tribal knowledge helps create one of the highest quality luxury Class C motorhomes on the market using a CQI process of Customer Quality Inspectors, deployed in pairs, with over 1,000 checkpoints of functional and visual testing. This requires an allotted time of inspection so it’s not how fast but rather how thorough that testing takes. Any repairs needed are done in that station and not passed on to the final pre-delivery inspection.
