Recharging the Winnebago Power Max System via Solar
The Lithionics battery of the Power Max System can be charged by the Merlin solar power system. The Travato 59KL’s MPPT solar controller provides best-in-class solar absorption, up to 30% better than competitors, giving you more off-the-grid performance. The Travato comes standard with 245-watts of Merlin solar panels with additional ports to plug in additional Merlin portable panels up to 1,600-watts.
Recharging the Winnebago Power Max System via Shoreline Power
As with many RVs, the Lithionics battery can be charged using shore power or by plugging into an electrical source at a campsite. What makes the Travato 59KL stand out is its powerful 3,600-watt pure sine wave inverter, which provides 30 amps of reliable power wherever you are.
Recharging the Winnebago Power Max System via Dual Alternators
The Power MAX System delivers outstanding performance with dual alternator charging, capable of powering the air conditioner while simultaneously recharging the lithium battery—even at idle. Together, the dual alternators provide up to 9,000 watts of charging power, thanks in part to the second under-hood 160-amp alternator from American Power Systems, which is designed for fast, efficient charging even when the engine is idling.
