In the sea of Camper Vans it’s hard to know where to begin. We’ll try and help you answer the question “Which Camper Van Should I Buy?” The Winnebago Class B lineup includes the Winnebago Travato, Winnebago Solis, and Winnebago Solis Pocket gas models and the and Winnebago Revel and Winnebago Revel Sport diesel models.
We will review common questions regarding the key features differentiating the Winnebago Class B models below:
HOW MANY PEOPLE DOES THIS CAMPER VAN SLEEP?
Solis & Solis Pocket – The Winnebago Solis 59P and 59PX models can sleep up to (4) people including sleeping for (2) in the Pop-Top Loft area. The Winnebago Solis Pocket 36A can sleep up to (3) people.
Travato – The Winnebago Travato is available in 2 floorplans, with one floorplan (59K) being available with optional lithium power. The Winnebago Travato floorplans can sleep up to (2) people.
Revel & Revel Sport– The Winnebago Revel is available in the 44E floorplan and the Revel Sport 44N and 44C floorplans. Each of these floorplans can sleep up to (2) people in the convertible Power Lift Bed with Gear Garage below.
DOES THIS CAMPER VAN HAVE AWD?
Solis & Solis Pocket – The Winnebago Solis and Solis Pocket are not available as AWD Camper Vans.
Travato – The Winnebago Travato is not available as an AWD Camper Van.
Revel & Revel Sport– The Winnebago Revel and Revel Sport come with AWD capability as a standard feature.
HOW MANY MPG DOES THIS CAMPER VAN ACHIEVE?
Solis & Solis Pocket – The Winnebago Solis and Solis Pocket achieve 18-22 mpg.
Travato – The Winnebago Travato achieves 18-22 mpg.
Revel & Revel Sport– The Winnebago Revel and Revel Sport achieve 18-22 mpg.

IS THIS CAMPER VAN ALL-SEASON?
Solis & Solis Pocket – The Winnebago Solis is built on the RAM ProMaster Chassis and has many 4-season amenities. The Winnebago Solis Pocket 36A is Gold Certified for cold weather capability by Truma.
Travato – The Winnebago Travato is also built on the RAM ProMaster Chassis and is built for 4-season adventure.
Revel & Revel Sport– The Winnebago Revel is also built on the Mercedes Benz VS30 diesel chassis and is equipped with many features that allow you to use your Revel throughout the year, regardless of the season.
WHAT ARE THE TOWING CAPABILITIES** OF THIS CAMPER VAN?
Solis & Solis Pocket – The Winnebago Solis has a factory installed 3,500 lb. tow package. However, if your Solis is fully loaded, using all your Occupant and Cargo Carrying Capacity (OCCC), your towing capacity on a Solis 59P should not exceed 3,100 lbs., on a Pocket 36A it should not exceed 3,450 lbs., and the Solis 59PX should not exceed 2,150 lbs.
Travato – The Winnebago Travato also has a factory installed 3,500 lb. tow package. However, if your Travato is fully loaded, using all your OCCC, your towing capacity on the Travato should not exceed 2,650 lbs. dependent on floorplan.
Revel & Revel Sport – The Winnebago Revel also has a factory installed 5,000 lb. tow package. However, if your Revel is fully loaded, using all your OCCC, your towing capacity on the Revel and Revel Sport should not exceed 4,880 lbs.
**These tow capacities may vary slightly on your actual unit as it varies by floorplan and optional content.
WHAT TYPE OF STORAGE DOES THIS CAMPER VAN HAVE?
Solis & Solis Pocket – The Winnebago Solis floorplans have storage capacity in the rear of the coach beneath the Murphy+ Bed when it is raised and there is in-floor storage in this area as well (n/a Pocket). There are also storage drawers and cubbies in the rear for additional storage coupled with ample overhead cabinet storage. In the 59PX floorplan you will also have rear gear space storage area. The Winnebago Solis Pocket 36A floorplan has additional storage in the dinette.
Travato – In the Winnebago Travato 59G floorplan there is overhead cabinet storage as well as storage below the Murphy Bed including drawer and cabinet storage. In the Winnebago Travato 59K | 59KL floorplans there is a large wardrobe in the bathroom, overhead cabinet storage throughout the coach as well as underbed storage.
Revel & Revel Sport– The Winnebago Revel and Revel Sport include overhead storage compartments. The Revel Sport also includes kitchen pantry storage. The Power Lift Bed allows for ample storage underneath with the large Gear Garage below. There are storage cubbies in this area as well. The All-in-One Gear Closet and Wet Bath can be used as storage when the removable shelves are in place.
DOES THIS CAMPER VAN HAVE A SHOWER?
Solis & Solis Pocket – The Winnebago Solis 59P and 59PX floorplans have a 31”x24” Wet Bath. Each of these floorplans include a shower however, the Solis Pocket 36A does not have a shower.
Travato – The Winnebago Travato floorplans have a Wet Bath that includes a shower. The Travato 59G floorplan has a 28”x51” Wet Bath and the Travato 59K | 59KL floorplans have a rear 25”x43” Wet Bath.
Revel & Revel Sport – The Winnebago Revel and Revel Sport have an All-in-One Gear Closet and Wet Bath that measures 31”x26” and includes a shower.
DOES THIS CAMPER VAN HAVE A TOILET?
Solis & Solis Pocket – The Winnebago Solis 59P and 59PX floorplans have a swiveling cassette toilet in the Wet Bath. The canister can be accessed from outside of the coach so it can be easily emptied. The Solis Pocket 36A includes a Portable Toilet.
Travato – The Winnebago Travato floorplans have a toilet with foot pedal and sprayer that can be found in the Wet Bath and a black tank with an 11-12 lb. holding tank capacity dependent on floorplan.
Revel & Revel Sport – The Winnebago Revel and Revel Sport have a swiveling cassette toilet in the Wet Bath. The canister can be accessed from outside of the coach so it can be easily emptied.
WHAT IS THE OUTSIDE** AND INSIDE HEIGHT OF THIS CAMPER VAN?
Solis & Solis Pocket – The outside height of the Winnebago Solis 59P is 9’6″ while the outside height of the Winnebago Solis 59PX and the Winnebago Solis Pocket is 9’5”. The inside height of each of the Winnebago Solis floorplans is 6’3”.
Travato – The outside height of the Winnebago Travato is 9’4” and the inside height of the Winnebago Travato is 6’3”.
Revel & Revel Sport – The outside height of the Winnebago Revel and Revel Sport is 10′ and the inside height of the Winnebago Revel and Revel Sport is 6’3”.
**The outside height is determined by measuring the height of the tallest standard feature of the coach.
