The Winnebago Revel and Revel Sport are compact, adventure-ready camp vans built on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis. Both models offer off-grid capability, all-wheel drive, and essential comforts like a bed, kitchenette, and flexible storage. The Winnebago Revel features the Winnebago Power MAX System while the Revel Sport features the Winnebago Power System. Continue reading below as we outline the similarities and differences between these power systems.

Battery:
Revel- The Revel 44E is standard with (1) 8.4kWh Lithionics lithium battery. If you choose, you can have a second Lithionics battery installed for a total of 16.8kWh of available energy.
Revel Sport- The Revel Sport comes standard with a 5kWh EcoFlow battery.
Both models include a 5-in-1 Winnebago x EcoFlow Power Hub, which includes (5) different systems (shown below) combined into (1) taking up less space and weight and providing greater efficiency. We will review the similarities and differences between the Winnebago Power Max found in the Revel and Winnebago Power Standard found in the Revel Sport.
Inverter:
The Winnebago Revel and Revel Sport both feature a 3,600-watt pure sine wave inverter as part of their 5-in-1 Winnebago x EcoFlow Power Systems. The inverter provides you with complete 30-amp whole coach electrical service and allows you to power the air conditioner when needed.
Converter/Charger:
Both Revel and Revel Sports power hubs include the converter/charger. This feature distributes AC/DC loads to your RV and charges the battery while connected to shore power. It also reduces 120 Volts AC down to 12 Volts DC
DC/DC Converter:
The DC-to-DC Converter supplies the power to all 12V load appliances in the Winnebago Revel 44E and Revel Sport.
Alternator Charger:
Revel- The Revel 44E has the ability for dual alternator charging providing up to 7,000-watts from the second installed American Power Systems 130-amp alternator managed by a Wakespeed digital voltage regulator, along with 1,500-watts of power from the chassis alternator power generator. This has a 6x faster charge rate and will recharge a single Lithionics battery in under 1 hour.
Revel Sport- While the Revel Sport is not equipped with a second alternator, the lithium battery does have the ability to charge off the chassis alternator while driving.
MPPT Solar Controller:
The Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) Controller ensures that the maximum amount of solar power is being extracted from the 210-watts of Merlin solar panels atop the roof on the Revel and Revel Sport.
As you can see, the Winnebago Revel 44E and Revel Sport share some key similarities as well as distinct differences in their lithium power systems. No matter which model you choose, you can count on reliable off-grid capabilities to support all your adventures.
