Winnebago offers several all-wheel drive (AWD) motorhome options in their motorhome lineup. AWD capability is an incredibly popular feature for those who expect their adventures to take them off-road and off-grid. Winnebago Revel
The all-wheel drive Winnebago Revel and Revel Sport are built on the efficient and dependable Mercedes-Benz AWD Sprinter chassis, featuring a high-output twin-turbo diesel engine and a 9-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. This chassis includes numerous active and passive safety features, including active brake assist, active lane keeping assist, blind spot assist, and more. You have the option to upgrade to customized performance wheels and BF Goodrich T/A KO2 all-terrain tires that offer a longer tread life and provide aggressive off-road traction for gravel, rocky, and snowy conditions.
For optimal off-grid power, the Revel 44E is equipped with the exclusive Winnebago Power MAX System, which includes an 8.4kWh Lithionics lithium-ion battery with dual alternator charging capability. The Revel Sport is instead equipped with the Winnebago Power Standard System, which includes a 5kWh EcoFlow Battery. Both the Revel and the Revel Sport include the 5-in-1 Winnebago x EcoFlow Power Hub Pro. This includes a 3,600-watt inverter, an inverter-charger, DC-DC converter, MPPT solar charger, and alternator charger. They each also include 210 watts of solar, further extending your off-grid capabilities.

Winnebago EKKO 22A & EKKO 23B
The Winnebago EKKO 22A and 23B floorplans are each built on an AWD chassis as the standard drivetrain. The EKKO 22A is built on the Ford AWD Transit chassis with a 3.5L EcoBoost V6 gas engine and 10-speed automatic Selectshift transmission with overdrive. Also included as standard equipment are stylized performance wheels, a spare tire, and all-season tires to ensure you can comfortably stay the course on your off-road adventures. The Ford AWD Transit chassis includes multiple safety features, including traffic sign assist, intelligent speed assist, adaptive cruise control, and more. To keep your adventures off-grid and off-road, the EKKO 22A has a 320-amp-hour Lithionics lithium-ion battery and (2) 170-watt and (1) 115-watt solar panels. It has a dedicated second alternator to charge the coach batteries. The 22A also includes a 2,800-watt gas generator and a 2,000-watt pure sine wave inverter. You may choose to remove the gas generator entirely, and it can be replaced with an additional 320-amp-hour Lithionics lithium-ion battery. Or you can choose to keep the generator and have Lichtsinn RV certified technicians install the second lithium-ion battery.
Comparatively, the Winnebago EKKO 23B is built on the Mercedes-Benz AWD Sprinter chassis, which includes a high-output twin turbo-diesel engine, a 9-speed automatic transmission with overdrive, and numerous safety features. The chassis also includes 4-wheel ABS brakes, LED high-performance headlamps for optimum visibility, all-terrain tires, stylized performance wheels, and a spare tire. To expand your off-grid power in the EKKO 23B, you have (2) 215-watt and (1) 100-watt solar panels and a 320-amp-hour Lithionics lithium-ion battery with a dedicated second alternator to charge the coach batteries. The 23B has a 2,500-watt LP generator and a 2,000-watt pure sine wave inverter. Like the 22A, you have the option to remove the generator entirely and have a 630-amp-hour Lithionics lithium-ion battery installed in its place, or you can keep the generator and have our Lichtsinn RV team install additional lithium power.
