SMARTSPACE

This design philosophy has led to the creation of features such as the BenchMark Dinette and the U-Shaped Dinette each with hidden storage compartments below the bench seats that can easily be converted into a sleeping space, unique pull out pantries and full-extension drawer slides found in many of the motorhome galley areas and the Flex Bed system allowing you to quickly and easily convert the living space or bedroom into different bed configurations. These are just some of the many innovations that have come about from the SmartSpace design philosopy.
Also included in the SmartSpace design process is molded component manufacturing. Winnebago builds their own rotational molded components manufactured in Winnebago’s Rotocast facility. Having the ability to manufacture components like water tanks, luggage compartments, heat ducts, and wheel wells in their own facility allows them to maximize space, ensure optimal weight distribution, and make spare parts available years down the road.
SMARTSTORAGE
Smart Storage is a better way to store your gear. It places bulky systems and tanks in improved configurations, leaving more room to maximize available basement storage. Exterior storage is also easy to access with innovative features such as a large trunk with multiple access doors and sliding storage trays on select models. Other features you might find include a storage well with drain plug, a compartment cover that converts into a picnic table, and tie downs to secure your items in place in open storage areas.
