KEY FEATURES
Ford® AWD Transit Chassis – The all-wheel-drive Ford Transit chassis of the EKKO is fully-loaded with advanced safety features and enhanced handling that maximizes traction for all of your off-road adventures. Standard EKKO chassis safety features include Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane-Keeping System, Pre-Collision Braking, Driver Alert and more. Additionally, the 3.5L EcoBoost® V6 delivers 310 horsepower and 400 lb.-ft. of torque while the 31-gallon fuel tank greatly extends your travel range.
Roof-Mounted Solar Panels – With the Winnebago EKKO, you can camp almost anywhere. You are provided superior energy independence when off-grid with the inclusion of (3) roof-mounted solar panels, (2) 170-watt and (1) 115-watt, for a combined 455-watts. If you choose the optional pop-top you will instead receive a standard 220-watt flexible surface solar panel.
Lithium Batteries – The Winnebago EKKO comes with (1) standard 320-amp-hour lithium ion battery with a Bluetooth control package and battery pack heating system. You can also add an additional 320-amp-hour lithium ion battery for up to 640-amp hours of energy per charge. Adding the additional battery does require that the Cummins Onan QG 2800i gas generator be removed. A dedicated second alternator charges the batteries while driving.
Sleeping Areas – The EKKO features the Flex Bed System with innovative WinnSleep System to provide a cool, comfortable, and supported night’s sleep. The Flex Bed System includes two 32″x76″ twin beds that easily convert to a 60″x80″ queen bed. The mattresses use the WinnSleep System which combines a superior two-layer CertiPUR-US hygienic mattress with the proven European-style FROLI sleep spring system. The FROLI springs provide a flexible support system that relieves pressure and improves circulation. Additionally, the EKKO has an optional pop-top sleeping area that measures 52″x79″ and comfortably sleeps two adults.
Water System – Extended stays are made convenient with the generously-sized 50-gallon freshwater tank and proportionate waste tanks. The EKKO also includes a conveniently located service center which simplifies the water system and drainage system operation. Additionally, all tanks and water lines are inside the coach above the floor, making the water system all-weather prepped.
Insulation – With extensive insulation in the roof, walls, floor and even compartments, the EKKO is ready for all-season adventures. Additionally, dual-pane acrylic windows provide sound dampening as well as thermal insulation.
Gear Garage – The EKKO is a favorite among adventurers due to the massive heated and lighted pass-through gear garage which is large enough to store bicycles, inflatable kayaks, and other outdoor gear. The gear garage includes an L-track cargo tie down system to make storing your equipment easy and convenient.
LP Tanks – On the exterior of the EKKO, access to the LP tanks is easy and convenient. The tanks can easily be removed, refilled and reinstalled.
Optional Equipment –
Exterior Kitchen -The included features in the optional exterior kitchen of the EKKO are extensive and include a chest style 12V refrigerator/freezer, 2-burner LP cooktop, flip-up counter extension, quick-connect faucet, collapsible sink and LP quick-connect hose.
Batwing Awning – The driver side and rearward optional batwing awning from AluCab is designed to open and set up, all in one to provide extended living space outside of the EKKO.
