The Winnebago Vita vs. Winnebago View

In the spirit of March Madness, we at Lichtsinn RV will be comparing various Winnebago motorhome models. Our next comparison in the March Motorhome Madness blog series is the ALL-NEW Winnebago Vita vs. the Winnebago View

Winnebago Vita

The Winnebago Vita combines Winnebago’s legendary build quality with best-in-class features, a spacious interior and plenty of useful storage: the result is a compact and easy-driving package that’s perfect for solo travelers, couples or families. Designed specifically for the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis, the Vita’s two all-new floorplans boast the largest galley, the largest bed — even the largest holding tanks in the class. And with standard features like the strong, lightweight and quiet SuperShell™ Sleeper Deck, 200-watt solar energy system, roof-port wiring access, panoramic galley window and exclusive customizable storage cabinets, it’s clear the Vita is more than best in class — it’s simply in a class all its own.

Winnebago View

The motorhome that started the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter revolution just keeps getting better. From the powerful and economical turbo-diesel engine to the elegantly appointed interior, the Winnebago View is the ultimate in efficient, luxurious RV travel for couples and families. The View’s four slideout-equipped floorplans offer a variety of sleeping and living-space choices. All feature swivel cab seats for added seating flexibility in the lounge, a powered patio awning, and a cabover bunk for added sleeping capacity. For those seeking the ultimate Sprinter-based Class C motorhome, the View has never looked better.

Both the View and Vita are powered by the tried and true Mercedes Benz powertrain, estimated to achieve 16 to 18 mpg highway:

1.  Mercedes Benz 3.0L turbo charged diesel

2.  325 lbs feet of torque or power

3.  188 hp

4.  5 speed automatic Tip Shift transmission with grade braking capability

5.  Adaptive ESP technology for superior ride and handling

6.  Three point safety belts

7.  Front seats that rotate to become integral lounge chairs with seat height boosters for a more residential feel.  Also include armrests, adjustable lumbar support, headrests, and reclines, swivel and slide

8.  Hydraulic four wheel ABS brakes

9.  Dual front airbags

10.  Factory installed 5,000 lb towing package with 7 blade bargeman wiring and 500 lb vertical tongue weight
