WINNEBAGO JOURNEY CLASS A DIESEL MOTORHOME
The Winnebago Journey, the all-new diesel pusher from Winnebago, may be the finest motorhome Winnebago has ever built. Designed for luxury travel and entertaining, this fully loaded coach features stylish, modern refinements from front to back. It features a flat floor with residential feel and a large open living space with premium amenities.
The Winnebago Journey is built on the Freightliner® XCM Diesel Chassis with an integrated Maxum IITM foundation. It has 4x torsional stiffness which is 30% stronger previous models, providing a smoother ride, better drive experience with diesel power to get you wherever you want to go. Enjoy an industry leading quiet ride with the Journey’s automotive cockpit with easy to read and reach instrumentation. Experience the ride and cruise in quiet comfort with the ability to easily have a conversation or listen to audio entertainment without the loud noise of the road as with diesels of the past. Throughout the Winnebago Journey you’ll find the automotive grade sound deadening soft vinyl ceiling to keep the sounds of the road outside.
The comfort driven heating and cooling system in the Journey features 3-13,500 BTU low profile Hi-efficiency air conditioners with heat pumps (36K|40P) and 2-15,000 BTU air conditioners (34N.) Each floorplan includes the Aqua-Hot 400D hydronic heating system for coach heat and on-demand hot water. An optional feature is to add hydronic heated flooring throughout.
To power this deluxe coach, the Winnebago Journey includes the 8,000-watt Cummins Onan generator (34N) and the 10,000-watt Cummins Onan generator (36K|40P.) The Journey also includes a 3,000-watt sine wave inverter/charge and 6 deep-cycle Group 31 Marine/RV batteries. There is a Lithium system upgrade option to add 4 x 125 AH batteries and 3 115-watt roof mounted solar panels for increased power.
The exterior of the Winnebago Journey is painted with a Sikkens premium high-gloss enhanced paint finish and a lower front protective mask. Outside the Winnebago Journey you’ll find a side mounted radiator, NeWay air suspension with V-Ride, DriveTech driving system, HWH automatic hydraulic level jacks and stylized aluminum wheels. The Winnebago Journey’s 22’ Carefree Apex Powered Patio Awning with LED Lighting provides an expansive 12’ in coverage. The HWH hydraulic slideout systems in the Journey feature Slide-out Sweepeze that scrape the debris off the top of the Slideroom keeping it clear limiting additional wear on the slideout roof. Outside the Journey you’ll also find an entertainment center with 40” TV and a home theater soundbar system with a portable Bluetooth subwoofer.
The Winnebago Journey boasts abundant exterior storage with its SureStoreTM industry leading, expansive exterior compartments allowing you to bring everything you need from home. Exterior storage is unobstructed with the Journey’s pass-through slide-out tray that is accessible from either side of the coach. The exterior lighted storage compartments of the Journey are heated and lined to protect the contents inside. The storage compartments feature easy push button release soft open and close compartment doors that provide secure closure with their powered cinch close.
Inside the Winnebago Journey, you’ll find luxurious amenities and premium features. The Winnebago Journey features the Winnebago ConnectTM System which helps you to control its many systems with the simple push of a button. The Winnebago ConnectTM is an upgraded control panel providing an integrated and easy experience with convenient access to all major coach systems on one panel or your phone. The Winnebago Connect System provides intuitive and easy to use controls all in one app.
The spacious galleys in the Winnebago Journey’s 3 floorplans feature Corian countertops, tile backsplash, flip-up countertop extension, dual stacked pantry and a modular stainless-steel sink which is functional as a single or dual basin and includes a drying rack and wood cutting board. The appliances in the Winnebago Journey galley include a convection/microwave, 2 burner portable induction range top and a 2-Door residential stainless-steel refrigerator and freezer. Also available is the optional stainless- steel in-drawer dishwasher.
Each of the three floorplans in the Winnebago Journey feature a buffet and table with chairs. They also include refined features including lap tables for sofa seating, multi-plex wall switches, a central vacuum system, dual pane tinted contoured windows, and washer and dryer prep. The Journey floorplans each include a 50” Smart HDTV, a digital TV amplified antenna system and a home theater soundbar for your entertainment in the main living area.
The luxurious bath in the Winnebago Journey includes a large shower surround with shower seat and dual showerheads including a large rainfall showerhead and a wand fixture. The vanity in the bath features a Corian countertop and tile backsplash. There is a Maxxair fan powered roof vent with rain sensor to provide optimum circulation in the bath area.
The bedroom in the Winnebago Journey features a king sized Bed with the Easy Make bed system and power incline headrest. Under the bed you’ll find storage and a lockable compartment. The nightstands beside the bed in the Journey include medical device storage and outlets. The bedroom also features a ceiling fan and 40’ Smart HDTV.
And finally, in the cab area of the Winnebago Journey you’ll find the Xcite Radio with 12’3” LCD color touch screen, high mounted power mirrors with defrost, a sideview camera, and a powered MCD blackout roller shade for the front windshield. The driver and passenger seat feature 6-way power assist with adjustable armrests and multi-adjustable recline.
