PANORAMIC VIEW

The Winnebago Journey boasts 12 degrees more forward-facing panoramic view than the competition!

Leading competitive diesel pushers have as much as 20 degrees of front facing view obstructed by the driver side A-Pillar due to wide A-pillar construction. By contrast, the Winnebago Journey’s front facing view obstruction has been reduced to just 8 degrees. That’s a 12 degree improvement in the panoramic view! This superior panoramic view is achieved with the following:

Curved Windshield and Narrow A-Pillar

Winnebago is known for their ability to construct narrow A-Pillars due to their proprietary Steel Superstructure construction.
In addition, the curved windshield pushes the a-pillar rearward enhancing your overall view.

UNOBSTRUCTED VIEW

Winnebago uses larger windows than the competition and focuses closely on mirror placement.

Winnebago discovered that competitor brand mirror placement caused several problems so it uses High Mount mirrors on the Winnebago Journey. Using High Mount mirrors resolved the following issues:

Driver obstruction: Higher mirror placement eliminates road glare from trailing vehicles as experienced in low mount mirrors.
High mount mirrors also result in less vibration from road travel as low mount mirrors have closer proximity to the road.
Finally, lower mirror placement obstructs pedestrian or debris view at the mirror height at lower speeds.

The Winnebago Journey has Best In Class “Sight Distance to Ground” at 162″ sight to the ground. Leading competitors have as much as 208″ sight to ground! That is nearly 4 feet worse!

Sight distance to ground is how far out in front of your coach you can see downward, or “see the ground” while driving. A better sight distance means you can see closer to your vehicle and have less obstructed view. This is particularly important while navigating at slow speeds or at stop lights.

Storage Accessibility
The Winnebago Journey’s storage bays have a 31″ opening height for storage of tall items. This is at least 7 inches taller than the nearest competitor and as much as 15 inches taller than the worst! The Journey was also purposefully built and designed so that the storage is accessible at a more ergonomic height to prevent the need to bend down so far to access the items you need.

Push Button Access
