The Winnebago EKKO on the Ford AWD Transit Chassis is a Class C gas motorhome that is ready for all-weather and all roads with its insulated water service center, extensive all-season insulation, dual-pane acrylic windows, and heated exterior storage. You can camp almost anywhere in the EKKO as it is ready to go off-grid with its 320-amp-hour lithium-ion battery and a second alternator dedicated to charging the batteries.
The Winnebago EKKO 22A floorplan is equipped with rear twin beds measuring 32”x76”. These beds can be converted into one large bed measuring 60”x80” with the flex bed system. On either side of the bedroom you’ll find large windows to allow for cross ventilation. But what if you want to bring more of the outdoors in without actually sleeping outside or need to sleep up to 4 people?
The Winnebago EKKO has a Pop-Top Loft sleeping area option that creates additional sleeping space. This Pop-Top is easy to use and you can sleep comfortably closer to the stars on the FROLI® comfort sleep system found in the Pop-Top. The Pop-Top Studio Loft measures 52”x79” and comfortably sleeps 2 people. This is just 8” short of a standard Queen-Sized Bed. You will find 110V/USB charging ports in the Pop-Top area to keep you plugged in throughout the night.
The standard EKKO comes with (2) 170-watt and (1) 115-watt solar panels. When you choose the Pop-Top option this is replaced with a 220-watt fleximat solar panel. When you choose the Pop-Top option in the EKKO there are some options that you will be unable to add including the luggage rack, the exterior kitchen, aluminum cab steps and the ladder.
