The Winnebago EKKO blends the off-road rugged nomadic nature of van life with the storage and livability of traditional touring class motor homes. The Winnebago EKKO is available in 2 floorplans, the Winnebago EKKO 22A and the new Winnebago EKKO 23B. Each floorplan includes innovative interior and exterior designs. The EKKO is known for its extensive off-grid power, extended season insulation and massive storage areas that allow you to store all of your adventure gear so you can go farther and stay longer.
The Winnebago EKKO 22A, is built on the Ford AWD Transit Chassis. The newest of the floorplans, the Winnebago EKKO 23B, is built on the Mercedes Sprinter Chassis. The 23B does have a higher ground clearance for more off-road adventures.
There are a number of features that the EKKO floorplans share, however there are many differences between the two as well. We will review the differences between the floorplans below:

While many of the chassis features are shared between both EKKO floorplans including: 4-Wheel ABS brakes, a 5,000-lb Trailer Hitch, Stylized Performance Wheels and the Spare Tire, others differ between the 2 floorplans as shown below.

In the cab area, again many features, including safety features, are shared between the 2 floorplans. However there are some differences as you’ll see below.

The interior layout of the 2 floorplans is also similar. Each includes lounge seating, a full kitchen (although the refrigerator is located on the other side of the coach in the 23B) and the bathroom layout is nearly identical. In the rear bedroom the twin beds, include the WinnSleep System and in each floorplan the beds convert into 1 large bed with the flex bed system. There are some key interior differences in the EKKO floorplans as shown below.

To extend your sleeping capabilities, you do have the option in each floorplan to add the Pop-Top sleeping area. The 22A also comes with the flexible option of adding an exterior kitchen if you wish, while this feature is not available in the 23B.
Each of the EKKO floorplans is powered by a powerful 320-amp-hour Lithionics Lithium Ion Battery. This feature includes a Bluetooth control package and a battery pack heating system. Differences in the EKKO electrical systems are listed below:
