Built atop the Freightliner XCM modular rail bridge chassis, the Journey will be known not only for its versatile floorplan designs with the latest in residential living comforts and technology, but with a new automotive infused design that provides for the quietest, and most visible ride in the industry.
Inspired in development from automotive design experts with focus in quiet performance and aerodynamic design, you’ll first notice the front aerodynamic design raked to minimize wind whip, with a composite front end that wraps behind the driver and passenger in the most insulated front end in the RV industry to provide the quietest ride, and quietest living, while running the generator.
You have the option of adding the Lithium System Upgrade, in lieu of the standard 6 Deep Cycle Batteries, to your Winnebago Journey which includes 4 x 125 AH batteries and 3 roof mounted solar panels, 115-watt each, allowing you to extend your time without shore power.
The Winnebago Journey is available in 3 floorplans, the 34N, 36K and the 40P. While each of these floorplans includes the Freightliner Maxum II XCM Chassis, a king-sized bed, optional dishwasher and washer and dryer, and upscale amenities there are many differences in the floorplans.
Winnebago Journey 34N
The Winnebago Journey 34N measures 35’6” in length and is equipped with 3 slideouts. You have your choice of a Rest Easy Sofa or Theater Seating in the passenger side slideout. The Galley area of the 34N includes a Glide & Dine Dining Table and Chairs with Buffet, a Pull-Up Countertop Extension and a Fireplace. For your comfort in the 34N you’ll find (2) 15,000 BTU low profile high efficiency Air Conditioners with heat pumps. The Journey 34N is equipped with the 8,000-watt Cummins Onan Generator.
Winnebago Journey 36K
The Winnebago Journey 36K measures 37’9” in length and is equipped with 3 slideouts. You have your choice of a Rest Easy Sofa or Theater Seating in the driver side slideout. The Galley area of the 36K includes a Dining Table and Chairs with Buffet, an Island with a Pull-Up Countertop Extension and a Fireplace. The Journey 36K also includes a large center coach bathroom. For your comfort in the 36K you’ll find (3) 13,500 BTU low profile high efficiency Air Conditioners with heat pumps. The Journey 36K is equipped with the 10,000-watt Cummins Onan Generator.
Winnebago Journey 40P
The Winnebago Journey 40P measures 41’4” in length and is equipped with 4 slideouts. The 40P floorplan includes the Rest Easy Sofa (driver side slideout) and Theater Seating (passenger side slideout.) The Galley area of the 40P comes with your choice of the Glide & Dine Dining Table and Chairs with Buffet or Ergonomic Dinette seating. In the Galley you’ll also find (2) Countertop Extensions to extend your kitchen counter workspace. The Journey 40P includes a center guest ½ bathroom as well as a full sized master bath in the rear of the coach. For your comfort in the 40P you’ll find (3) 13,500 BTU low profile high efficiency Air Conditioners with heat pumps. The Journey 40P is equipped with the 10,000-watt Cummins Onan Generator.
