RV miles per gallon is the distance, in highway miles, that an RV can travel per gallon of fuel.
As you consider which motorhome may be the best fit for you, as a general rule, the larger the RV the lower the expected mpg. On average Class B motorhomes or Camper Vans, are the most fuel-efficient RVs averaging 18-22 miles per gallon. Class C motorhomes are next with an average of 8-18 mpg (View/Navion 16-18 mpg), with Class A motorhomes coming in third at 8-12 mpg.
