How to De-Winterize a Winnebago Travato – 59K, 59G, 59KL & 59GL

It’s getting warmer and you may be ready to get your Travato out of winter storage. The service techs at Lichtsinn RV are more than happy to help you de-winterize your RV or you can follow the easy steps below to de-winterize your Travato 59K, 59G, 59KL or 59GL.

  1. Fill the Travato with fresh water tank to flush out the RV anti-freeze
  2. Turn the water pump on
  3. Go to your kitchen sink
    1. Turn on the cold water and let it run until the water is clear and not foamy
    2. Turn on the hot water and let it run until the water is clear – to flush the Truma system
  4. Go to the bathroom sink
    1. Turn on the cold water and let it run until the water is clear and not foamy
    2. Turn on the hot water and let it run until the water is clear – to flush the Truma system
  5. Go to the Shower
    1. Turn on the cold water and let it run until the water is clear and not foamy
    2. Turn on the hot water and let it run until the water is clear – to flush the Truma system
  6. Go to the Exterior Shower
    1. Turn on the cold water and let it run until the water is clear and not foamy
    2. Turn on the hot water and let it run until the water is clear – to flush the Truma system
