The EKKO is ready to take you where you want to go! The EKKOs Ford AWD Transit Chassis, has a 3.5L EcoBoost V6 gas engine with 10-speed automatic Selectshift transmission with overdrive and grade braking. It includes independent front suspension and electric power assisted steering. The standard on-demand AWD in the EKKO engages when the EKKO detects slippage and sends torque or power to the wheels that need them, and doesn’t when it’s not needed to improve fuel economy. Selectable modes are available for muddy, rutted or slippery surfaces with the capability of sending 100% torque to a needed axle.
The EKKOs Ford Chassis includes many standard safety features including: Blind Spot Alert, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist with Alert or Assist Mode, Forward Collision Warning, Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking, Post Collision Braking, AdvanceTrac with Roll Stability Control, Side Wind Stabilization, Hill Side Assist, a Tire Pressure Monitoring System and Dual Front and Safety Canopy Side Curtain Airbags. The EKKO includes a spare tire as a standard feature so you won’t be caught off-road with a flat tire.
You can camp almost anywhere in the EKKO with its (3) solar panels that provide 455-watts. If you choose the Pop-Top option this is replaced with a 220-watt solar fleximat that is located on the Pop-Top roof. The EKKO includes a 320-amp-hour lithium-ion battery to provide off-grid independence. It has a second under the hood alternator that can recharge the lithium battery in under 2 hours while driving. For additional power the EKKO includes a Cummins Onan QG 2800i gas generator and a 2,000-watt pure sine wave inverter. For additional off-grid capabilities you can choose to add another lithium battery and delete the generator or you can choose to have a Lichtsinn RV installed second lithium battery and keep the generator.
The EKKO has a 31-gallon fuel tank which extends its driving range. The EKKO also boasts a 50-gallon freshwater tank and a 51-gallon gray tank to make extended stays possible. The EKKO includes an easy-to-use cassette toilet which provides you the freedom to be untethered from campground dumpstations and go where you like since you can dump the 5-gallon cassette toilet contents into any standard toilet. You can also purchase a second cassette if you wish.
The EKKO combines the efficiency of a Camper Van with the added capacity of a class C coach to create an entirely new type of RV.
