Winnebago EKKO Recall

As with all EKKOs, yours has been identified as being subject to a Winnebago recall related to the alternator and wiring used to recharge the lithium system (Winnebago Recall 174), and you should have already received, or will receive soon, notification from Winnebago Industries. The recall repair required is extensive and depending on the build date of your EKKO, can take up to 12 hours to complete. The most recent builds require just a 1 hour appointment. We recognize the inconvenience this creates for EKKO owners and the time commitment it will require to have this completed properly, while also acknowledging that these lengthy appointments may be limited and difficult to book at dealerships nationwide. Our Service Director and Service Technicians have been trained on this complex recall repair onsite at the Winnebago Factory Service Center in Forest City, we have successfully completed many of the recall repairs, have established a channel for the necessary parts, and are prepared to schedule and perform this recall repair for you.

Due to the complexity of the recall repair and time needed in the service department, we have set aside several EKKO recall appointments in our service department. We will complete this recall repair for our Lichtsinn RV guests that have purchased from us, as well as any other EKKO owner who purchased at a different dealership.
