The all-wheel drive, all-season Winnebago EKKO is now available on the Mercedes Benz Sprinter chassis, with even more storage and livability than ever! The EKKO Sprinter 23B benefits from elevated ground clearance, as well as standard all-terrain tires for superior grip when navigating low-traction environments. It has an advanced power package and large water tank (50 gallons) allowing you to further extend your off-grid stays. We’ll review the Winnebago EKKO Sprinter 23B floorplan in more detail below.
WINNEBAGO EKKO 23B FLOORPLAN
EXTERIOR: On the outside of the Winnebago EKKO Sprinter 23B you have your choice of the Verdant II or the Raw Sienna II exterior color, each available with or without exterior graphics. The 23B includes a 13’ Colorado Carefree powered patio awning with LED lighting and Bluetooth control. You can choose to delete the awning if you wish. You may prefer to instead extend your overhead coverage outdoors by adding the optional Batwing Awning that extends on the driver side and behind the coach covering the gear garage access area.
The deep rear gear garage in the 23B is heated and includes a removable floor liner and 110V/12V charging ports. LED lighting allows you to see clearly throughout the gear garage area and the L-track cargo tie down system ensures your gear can be stored securely in place. You may also choose to add a luggage rack to help further expand your gear carrying capabilities. The 23B boasts 64 cu. ft. of exterior storage space.
INTERIOR: The living space in the EKKO Sprinter 23B is designed to flex to your needs. The tinted dual pane canopy style acrylic windows and LED lighting brighten the lounge area while also conserving energy. Upon first entering the EKKO 23B you’ll be greeted by a sofa on your right and the flexible lounge area straight ahead of you. The multifunctional lounge can be easily configured into four different modes: Passenger seating for two with a pull-up table, two side sofas with an adjustable table, a U-shaped dining space to accommodate up to five people, or the sleep mode (30”x78”) which creates a side-to-side sleeping space.
GALLEY: The EKKO Sprinter 23B galley features a portable single-burner induction cooktop that can be stored in a galley drawer in the base of the kitchen counter extension. This gives you the ability to cook outdoors and store it out of sight when not in use. The microwave/convection oven includes touch controls and the large stainless-steel galley sink has storage below. The deep access drawers in the galley and the 5.3 cu. ft. single door 12V refrigerator/freezer help store all of your kitchen essentials.
BATH: Mid-coach in the 23B you’ll find the innovative Wet Bath that measures 24”x30” and includes a unique pivoting wall that easily turns the lavatory with swiveling cassette toilet into a shower and then back again.
SLEEPING: In addition to the lounge sleeping area, in the rear of the EKKO 23B is the main sleeping area. Here you’ll find twin sized beds each measuring 32”x80”. These beds can be combined into one large, 60”x80” sleeping surface with the flex bed system. Underneath the beds is drawer and wardrobe storage.
If additional sleeping space is needed, you may choose to add the Pop-Top sleeping area with the FROLI sleep system. In this area you’ll find conveniently accessible 110V/USB charging ports. If you do choose the pop top option, the standard ladder will be removed and you do not have the option of adding the luggage rack.
SAFETY: To enhance driving comfort and safety, the EKKO Sprinter 23B incorporates the latest Mercedes-Benz safety and convenience features, starting with the MBUX® Multimedia System with navigation, Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™. Additional driver aids include the digital rearview mirror, automatic rain-sensing wipers and power assist steering. There are a number of safety features that are included with the Mercedes-Benz Chassis including: Active Lane Keeping Assist, Active Brake Assist, DISTRONIC PLUS® Adaptive Cruise Control, Attention Assist and Traffic Sign Assist.
