Interior Features of the Winnebago Revel

Built on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis, the Winnebago Revel offers the superior capability of being equipped for both off-grid and off-road adventures. With a function-fueled design, powered by the reliability of a 3-liter turbo diesel engine and 4WD, the Revel is built with both quality and longevity in mind. However, some of the most notable features that highlight Winnebago’s dedication to quality and usability are actually found in the interior of this powerful motorhome.

Winnebago Revel Interior Features

Interior Décor – Intrepid

Winnebago Revel Intrepid Interior

The interior décor of the Winnebago Revel is named “Intrepid,” and features aesthetics with blue and grey hues as the main color palette. For an added element of sophistication and comfort, the main leather elements in the design feature Ultrafabrics® Ultraleather, a high performance material that is used in many Winnebago motorhomes. The material is ideally suited for the demands of an active RV lifestyle, and as such, pairs well with the Revel.

Inside the Revel you’ll find a heavy-duty vinyl flooring that features a circular pattern for durability and added grip when you are moving throughout the coach. This interior design layout also features improved cabinetry that is designed to be lighter and stronger than previous models while still flowing perfectly with the rest of the decor.

Off-Grid Livability Features

Winnebago’s dedication and focus to quality and durability does not mean they are sacrificing amenities and design. The Winnebago Revel includes many elements that even further enhance its off-road and off-grid capabilities. To keep the elements at bay and maximize comfort inside the coach, the Revel includes dual-pane windows with insulated shades as well as snap-in screens when fresh air circulation is desired. Even the cabinets are built with welded aluminum face frames to maintain durability when your adventures go off-road to conditions that truly put the 4WD to the test. The previously mentioned heavy-duty vinyl flooring also helps with off-grid livability with an easy to sweep and clean design for when the mud and grime from the trail follow you inside.

Dining Area

The dinette provides elevated comfort with Ultraleather material and also includes a 3-point seat belt as well as a single lap belt, increasing the number of family or guests you can safely bring along. For dining, a removable pedestal table conveniently stows behind the bench seat while the driver seat can swivel for maximum use of the space. The dining area even includes numerous discreet storage locations including a compartment beneath the floor in front of the bench seat as well as storage both behind and under the bench.

Galley

As with all Winnebago motorhomes, the flexible galley of the Revel is built with convenience in mind and offers numerous elements of usability without sacrificing style. The Revel includes a portable induction cooktop that conveniently fits inside a storage drawer when not in use. This provides an easy-to-maintain and clean multi-use counter space. Also included is a countertop extension that can be easily stored beneath the bench seat when not in use. The counter has a built-in, rectangular sink with a fixed faucet. One of the most convenient features in the Revel is the 3.0 cu. ft. refrigerator which is accessible from both inside and outside of the van. The exterior of the Revel includes a fold-down table providing outside convenience and accessibility.

Power Lift Bed with Gear Garage Below

One of the most appreciated, space-saving feature of the Revel is the gear garage and sleeping area included in the rear of the camper van. The power lift bed can transform your sleeping space into a spacious gear garage with additional storage such as molded pockets and zip storage. In this area of the Revel you also have easy access to the lithium system housed above the driver side wheel well, the simplified water center panel, and the freshwater tank all of which are located internally to prevent freezing and more convenient all-season use. When the power lift bed is raised, the gear garage beneath provides ample storage space for any off-road, gear-laden adventurer. Also, installed in the heavy-duty vinyl flooring are six removable cargo tie-down anchors for flexibility when securing your gear.

Wet Bath and Gear Closet

Another innovative design feature in the Winnebago Revel is the multifunctional wet bath. The space doubles as a closet when not being used as a bath and includes removable bamboo shelves and a clothes rod as well as a dry storage compartment. Like the vast majority of components used in Winnebago motorhomes, the shower wall surround is actually built in-house and provides a superior, waterproof seal. The wet bath also features a swiveling cassette toilet that eliminates the need for a dedicated black waste tank and provides you flexibility eliminating your need for a dump station.

The Winnebago Revel boasts many interior features that make it both a convenient and comfortable camper van, but it also includes aesthetics and design elements that take it one step further. Call a Lichtsinn RV Sales Consultant today to learn more about the true 4×4 Winnebago Revel!
