We carry the full-line of Winnebago Motorhomes: A Lichtsinn RV Advantage

At Lichtsinn RV we pride ourselves on listening to our guests’ needs when helping them select the perfect RV.  Maybe you are looking for something small that you can use for day trips or weekend getaways?  Or maybe you are interested in a motorhome that will serve as your second home during the cold of winter?   It could be that you’ve decided to live the RV lifestyle full-time.  No matter how you plan to use your motorhome we will help you find the perfect RV for your needs.

One of the many advantages of choosing Lichtsinn RV for your motorhome purchase is that we carry the full-line of Winnebago motorhomes.

Due to dealer agreements, many other dealerships are limited in which Winnebago models they can offer.  Instead of carrying the full spectrum of the largest Winnebago Class A models down to the smallest Winnebago Class B models they may only carry a handful of Winnebago Motorhome models.  And it might be those models won’t fit your needs as well as another.   You don’t want to end up buying an RV that isn’t the perfect fit.

We carry  the entire lineup of motorhome models offered by Winnebago, not just three or four.  We’re not going to try to put you into a model just because it’s the one we can get.  We will work with you to find the exact model, the exact floorplan with the exact right options for you.

The entire Winnebago motorized lineup includes:

Class A Diesel:
Winnebago Forza
Winnebago Journey

Class A Gas:
Winnebago Adventurer
Winnebago Sunstar
Winnebago Vista

Class C Diesel:
Winnebago Navion
Winnebago View
Class C Gas:
Winnebago EKKO
Winnebago Minnie Winnie
Winnebago Spirit

Class B Diesel:
Winnebago Boldt
Winnebago Era
Winnebago Revel

Class B Gas:
Winnebago Solis
Winnebago Solis Pocket
Winnebago Travato

When it comes to freedom and flexibility motorhomes offer the ultimate experience. Ranging from the larger Class A motorhome to the compact Class B camper vans, to the Class C, all motorhomes are RVs that take transportation and living quarters and roll them into one comfortable experience. With something for everyone, motorhomes range from compact and space saving models to luxury buses that can all pull a family car in tow.

Winnebago Motorhomes

Class A Motorhome –

A Class A Motorhome is like a large luxury bus for you to call your very own. The largest of RV motorhomes, they are constructed on a specially designed chassis and powered by either gas or diesel engines. Many Class A motorhomes have multiple slide-out sections that open up the living and/or sleeping space and come equipped with features to make you feel at home like full kitchens, full bathrooms, entertainment centers and centrally controlled heating and air conditioning. Class A motorhomes have a semi-truck style windshield and a higher profile ranging from 12′ to 13’3″ in height.

Quick Facts –

  • Cost – $168,000 – $415,000 (Base Price)
  • Sleeping – Up to 8 People (Dependent on floorplan)
  • Length – 35’ – 40’

Why Choose This Type of RV?

The Class A motorhome is perfect for long-term family road trippers. From an easy to maintain entry level Class A, to luxury Class A coaches, there are plenty of options with this RV type. 4 to 5 people can sleep comfortably in these models and can stretch out like they’re in the family room of a house. The Class A contains all the amenities that make you feel at home including a large refrigerator and freezer, ample storage space, and often even an outside entertainment or tailgate center. To further your comfort while traveling many Class A models may have the option to add a washer/dryer, an in-drawer dishwasher, fireplace and more.

Features of this RV –

  • Spacious and well equipped: Even the basic models are well-appointed and roomy. Many have additional living space outdoors that may include an exterior entertainment center or exterior tailgate/kitchen area.
  • Slide-out rooms: Most all Class A RVs include a one or more slide-out rooms that extend the RV’s exterior wall outward at the touch of a button, to enlarge the living, dining, kitchen area and/or sleeping area.
  • Smooth and stable ride: No special license is required to drive a Class A Motorhome.
  • A small vehicle can be towed: Class A RVs allow you the ability to bring your car along for daytrips once the motorhome is parked. You can also tow a trailer to carry your boat or golf cart.

Winnebago Class A Motorhomes include the gas powered Winnebago Adventurer and the Winnebago Vista and Sunstar. Winnebago Class A Diesel Motorhomes include the Winnebago Journey and the Winnebago Forza.

Class C Motorhomes

With its distinctive cab-over bunk, the Class C motorhome can be easily taken on many RV adventures and owners often say it is easy to drive with it’s van-like front windshield. Class C Motorhomes look like nothing else on the market and are built on a commercial cut-away van chassis. The Class C RVs have all the amenities of a Class A motorhome but in a smaller package. Class C RVs are available on both gas and diesel chassis. The Class C profile is lower than the class A counterparts, with an exterior height ranging from 10’6″ to 11′.

Quick Facts –

  • Cost – $116,000 – 180,000 (Base Price)
  • Sleeping – Up to 8 People (Dependent on Floorplan)
  • Length – 23’ to 33′

Why Choose this Type of RV?

With a truck-like profile, the Class C is perfect for both a family or a large group to spread out on road trips for long-term traveling. Gas or diesel models are available, and they can typically sleep 4-8 people comfortably.

Features of this RV –

  • Ample living space: Equipped with full sleeping, kitchen, dining and bathroom facilities as well as entertainment systems and plenty of storage.
  • Extra sleeping bunk: Over the cab area can be used as a sleeping area or for additional storage.
  • A small vehicle can be towed: You can tow a trailer behind your Class C for a boat, ATV, snowmobile or for any other gear or tow a small family car.
  • Slide-out Rooms: Offers extra room for living or sleeping areas by moving the RV’s exterior wall outward at the push of a button. This will allow for additional RV width so you can move more freely and easily around the coach.

Winnebago Class C Motorhomes include the gas powered Winnebago EKKO and Winnebago Minnie Winnie and Sunstar. Winnebago Class C Diesel Motorhomes include the Winnebago View and the Winnebago Navion.

New and Used Class C Motorhomes for Sale

Class B Motorhomes

Also called camper vans or conversion vans, Class B motorhomes are an engineering marvel! Kitchens, wet baths with toilets and showers included and sleeping up to four people; all in a slightly stretched full-size van with a raised roof. A Class B Motorhome is easy to drive, fits in a standard parking space, is easy on fuel with gas mileage ranging from 16-22 MPG dependent on model, and can be used as a second vehicle. Class B Camper Van RVs are available in gas and diesel chassis. They are just 9′-10′ in height, so a much lower profile than the Class A or Class C RVs.

Quick Facts –

  • Cost – $100,000 – $226,000 (Base Price)
  • Sleeping – Up to 4 People (Dependent on Floorplan)
  • Length – 18’ to 24’

Why Choose this RV –

The Class B motorhome is easy to pack and drives just like a large van. However, this isn’t your normal van. A Class B Camper Van includes a kitchen, typically a wet bath with toilet and  shower and a sleeping area. With an elevated roof, the Class B fits everything you need in a small package. These Camper Vans sleeps up to 4 people comfortably and are perfect for the spontaneous adventurer in the great outdoors or the city. Many Class B’s are equipped to go off-road and off-grid and provide for an extended camping season, some even allow for 4-season camping.

  • Easy to drive, easy to load: Small size means these RVs are easy to move around town, and can fit in regular parking spots.
  • All conveniences of home: Sleeping, dining and cooking facilities.
  • Useful for towing:  Tow a boat, a snowmobile, a small family car or even a camping trailer with your Class B Camper Van.
  • Full stand-up room: Thanks to the raised roof and sometimes…dropped floors.
  • Fully winterized versions: Includes a higher BTU furnace, heated tanks, upgraded insulation and double-glazed windows for winter adventures.

Winnebago Class B Motorhomes include the gas powered Winnebago Travato and Winnebago Solis. Winnebago Class B Diesel Motorhomes include the the Winnebago Era, Winnebago Boldt and the Winnebago Revel.

Winnebago Adventurer vs. Winnebago Forza

The Benefits of Buying a Used RV from a Dealership vs. a Private Party

Interest in the RV lifestyle is at an all-time high and we are seeing more and more guests enter the lifestyle by purchasing a pre-owned RV. In some of our guest’s situations, it makes sense to purchase pre-owned rather than new. For those looking at purchasing from a private party versus a dealer there are some considerations you will want to take to ensure you are making the best long-term ownership decision. We believe there are several benefits to buying from a dealership versus a private party.

Dealership Team

Reason #1: Market-Based Pricing Approach vs. Whatever the owner thinks it is “worth”

Lichtsinn RV uses a real estate approach when pricing our pre-owned inventory, meaning we look at: the condition of the vehicle, mileage, NADA book value, vehicle history report, true comparable coaches in the market and more to establish a fair price, for a pre-owned vehicle.

One common problem with buying from a private party is they still owe more than the RV is worth, or they think the RV is worth more than it really is. So, there is a strong possibility that the unit from the private party will be overpriced.

Reason #2: Lichtsinn RV inspects all incoming trades to gauge the overall condition of the RV

When we take in a trade we complete a full inspection of the unit to establish the overall condition of the coach. Our team ensures there is no hidden damage or potential issues that could arise down the road. In fact, we have a certified pre-owned vehicle designation providing you piece of mind service after the sale. The Lichtsinn RV Certified Preowned RV Program, provides Real Value with a sixty day Service Plan from the date of purchase!  After passing a rigorous inspection, the plan provides major operating systems coverage to protect RVers, and is accepted anywhere in the U.S. or Canada.  Once work is completed to your satisfaction, the Plan pays the service center directly.  Plans are also extendable.

If you were to buy from a private party, you will have to trust the word of the previous owner. Unless you are highly knowledgeable about RVs you might not know what potential red flags to look for.

Reason #3: Lichtsinn RV works with national lenders to get you the best rates and terms

Whether you have the perfect credit score, or a more challenging credit history, our business managers will find the right RV financing option for you. We work with several lenders to bring you the most competitive and flexible financing options around. We will do whatever we can to help you get the monthly payment and loan term that best suits your budget.

When buying from a private-party you have to figure out how to finance the vehicle yourself which can be confusing and you may not receive the competitive rates our team can get.

Reason #4: Lichtsinn RV can assist you with purchasing an extended service contract to protect you from costly repairs

What is commonly referred to as an extended RV service contract is a form of mechanical breakdown protection. Lichtsinn RV works with a well-known extended service contract provider to provide you with complete protection for your home on the road. This service contract extends the 12-month/15,000-mile basic limited warranty from Winnebago to 5 years or 50,000 miles. Call a Lichtsinn RV Business Manager to learn more about available extended service contracts.

When you buy from a private party the vehicle is As-Is and any costly repairs on your coach will fall squarely on you.

Reason #5: The Lichtsinn RV team will support you after the sale

You will have your Sales Consultant assisting you with the purchase process and with any questions after the sale. The Lichtsinn RV Business Office will assist you before and during the delivery process to ensure you understand your options for financing and protecting your investment down the road.

Next you will meet your designated service consultant who will answer all your questions and assist you with setting up service appointments for the lifetime of your vehicle. Our service consultants and our Winnebago Factory Trained RVIA/RVDA Certified RV Service Technicians have the training, experience and certification to ensure your RV is in the right hands when receiving service work.

The Lichtsinn RV Parts Department is the largest Winnebago Parts Department in the country with same-day shipping on in-stock parts with nationwide shipping. Our Parts department team will assist you in ordering parts and accessories for the lifetime of your vehicle and answer any questions you have related to parts and accessories for your RV.

The 5 Most Common Questions when Buying an RV

How to Buy an RV from Lichtsinn RV: Your Customized Orientation

Winnebago RV Production Quality Advantages

The 5 Most Common Questions When Buying an RV

Purchasing an RV is an exciting time for new AND seasoned RVers. There are 5 questions that all RVers should ask themselves when they start the process of purchasing an RV – either new or pre-owned.

Winnebago IntentWhat Type of RV is right for your travels?

When it comes to freedom and flexibility motorhomes offer the ultimate experience. RVs range from Class A motorhomes for those who stay in their coach for an extended amount of time and may want a washer and dryer and other features to ease their time spent in their RV. Then there are compact Class B camper vans which may offer 4WD and the flexibility to drive off road but are still small enough to park in the city. And finally Class C Motorhomes which all include the overhead cab area and range greatly in size and features. Regardless of the motorhome class, all motorhomes are RVs that take transportation and living quarters and combine them into one comfortable experience. With something for everyone, motorhomes range from compact and space saving models to luxury buses that can pull a family car in tow for daytrips. Read our in-depth blog post on how to choose the perfect RV for you here.

What are my options for financing an RV?

Financing is a great option for those planning on purchasing an RV. Financing allows the RV lifestyle to be more affordable by breaking up the cost into manageable monthly or bi-weekly payments. You can work with your local lender to secure financing, or you can work with the experienced team at Lichtsinn RV. Kevin and Brandon in the Lichtsinn RV Business Office are authorized agents for several large national banks like Bank of America, US Bank, Bank of the West and more. Our relationships with these banks provide you with a competitive rate often lower than your local lender.

Benefits of Financing at Lichtsinn RV –

  • We offer financing and are authorized agents for several large major RV banks including Bank of America, US Bank, Bank of the West and several other major lenders.
  • We generally provide a credit application to these banks and allow them to compete for the lowest rate.
  • All of our loans carry no fees at closing, no closing costs and no points.
  • In most cases, the interest can be deducted for tax purposes by qualifying as a second home.
  • We can generally do terms of up to 20 years! Pre-payments can be made in full or in part, at any time, without penalty with nearly all of our lenders. All of our loans are conventional fixed rate loans.
  • We offer both monthly and bi-weekly payment options.

Learn more about financing with Lichtsinn RV here.

What kind of additional expenses should I plan for when buying an RV?

RV Insurance: After you purchase your RV there will be some additional costs you want to plan for, the first being RV insurance. While it may be enticing to look for the cheapest RV insurance you can find, you will want to make sure it properly covers your RV. When looking at RV insurance, you will want to make sure it is RV-specific insurance and offers RV Full/Total Loss Replacement – offered on newly purchased RV’s one model year old or newer: if your RV is totaled within the first 5 years, this policy provides the monetary equivalent of what it costs to buy a brand-new RV of the same or similar model, even if it costs more than what you originally paid for your RV. You may look for additional offerings like vacation liability, pet injury coverage, fire department service charges or personal effects coverage for contents inside the RV. Most “other” insurance policies do not offer these additional benefits. Kevin and Brandon in the Lichtsinn RV business office are licensed insurance agents and can answer any questions you have regarding RV insurance. Learn more here.

Parts and Accessories: There will be additional parts and accessories you will want to purchase for your new RV like tow bars, hoses, waste dumping chemicals, and more. The Lichtsinn RV parts team has identified the top parts and accessories you will want to purchase for RVing and your factory trained technician who provides your orientation will review these during your complimentary half-day orientation.

Camping Fees: There will be additional costs when traveling in your RV like campground costs. There are several loyalty programs that include camping discounts including Winnebago’s WIT (Winnebago International Travelers) Club.

Extended Service Contracts: You will want to consider the long-term costs of maintaining an RV. Most new RV Warranties cover 1-3 years so if you are purchasing a pre-owned RV or planning on keeping the RV for more than 3 years you will want to consider an extended service contract. Learn more about extended service contracts and why you should get one here.

Do I get a pre-delivery inspection of the RV?

A reputable RV dealer will provide you with a walkaround inspection and review of your coach. At that time, you can see how to operate your RV. At Lichtsinn RV, a Factory Trained Orientation Specialist will provide you with a half-day educational orientation of your coach. You will learn how every single switch, component and feature works in your RV as well as learn maintenance tips. This is also dedicated time where you can have all of your operational questions answered by a knowledgeable source.

Will the dealer support and service my RV in the long run?

RVs require service and maintenance and it is imperative that buyers find a dealer that will support them for the life of their vehicle and not leave them high and dry when it comes to servicing it in the future. You may find a fly-by-night dealer with a low price tag on an RV with one or two service bays and techs, and no way of servicing your RV in the future. Or you may find a mega-dealer, whose only interest is to sell you the RV and doesn’t want to hear from you again once you drive off the lot.

The Lichtsinn RV Experience starts from the moment you pick up the phone or chat with us online and extends throughout the lifetime of your RV ownership. Your dedicated Lichtsinn RV Sales, Service and Parts team members will support you along every step of your RV journey. In 2014, Lichtsinn RV built a new, state-of-the-art RV dealership and has continued to expand since that time. Lichtsinn RV currently has 8 RV service bays and is under construction to add existing bays. Inside of Lichtsinn RV you’ll find a large indoor RV parts and camping accessories store, a spacious service check-in area, a video production studio, indoor delivery and service drive area, and a guest lounge equipped with the latest technology. Lichtsinn RV also offers dealership guests complimentary electrical hookups while visiting for RV delivery or service.

At Lichtsinn RV we are happy to answer your RV questions thoroughly and patiently so you can ensure you are selecting not only the right RV for your needs, but the right RV dealership. Call a Lichtsinn RV consultant today to have your questions answered.

One of the many things that differentiates Lichtsinn RV from our competitors is our close relationship with Industry partners across the RV industry.

Not to mention the people that work there are our family, friends and neighbors.

Beyond Winnebago, there are numerous other industry partners that we work with closely on the many aspects of your coach. We’ve Already Ordered Your RV: A Lichtsinn RV Advantage

blog

There has been a lot of interest in #Campervan and other RV travel since health concerns were forced into the public’s consciousness early last year.  So many people have rediscovered the outdoors and thousands of first time RVers are now in the market for a motorhome.  The RV industry has seen record sales, production and deliveries of new motorhomes in the last year.

As a result of this peaked interest and unprecedented demand there have been some challenges that manufacturers, dealers and buyers have faced. Even though manufacturers are producing more RVs than ever before, the unprecedented demand means that most new motorhomes probably are not available for immediate purchase.

Many potential buyers are probably wondering why they should buy an RV now if there are production backlogs already?

At Lichtsinn RV, the answer is simple.  We’ve already ordered your RV.  We order hundreds of Winnebago motorhomes prior to having buyers for them.   There are some models we have hundreds of units already on order and in different stages of production.

Unlike other dealers that would place your order with Winnebago once you put money down, we’ve already done that.  It’s possible we may have ordered the RV you’re about to purchase last year.

You’re that much further ahead in the production timeline when you purchase from Lichtsinn RV than when you purchase from another dealer.  While many dealers might order product ahead, as the largest Winnebago Dealer in North America, focusing only on Winnebago Motorhomes, we order literally hundreds of RVs at a time.

Depending how far along your RV that we have already ordered is in production, we can make all your customized option choices just as if you were to order the RV today.

At Lichtsinn RV once you put a deposit down on a particular model of RV you are secured a production slot. To explain this further, let’s say you wanted to buy a Winnebago Revel.  We might already have 150 Revel 44E units on order.    Let’s also say that the day you provide us your deposit and sign paperwork, there are already 25 other people that have purchased from us.  Your deposit and paperwork secure you in slot number 26 and that Revel is yours.  We don’t alter your position based on price paid or any other factors.  Ever.

As the North America’s largest volume, full-line Winnebago dealership we pre-order all of our inventory.  This is a real advantage to you when purchasing a motorhome from Lichtsinn RV. So whether you’re in the market for a Winnebago View, Winnebago Revel, or Winnebago EKKO or any of the other Winnebago Motorhome models…we’ve already ordered your RV at Lichtsinn RV.

Call a Lichtsinn RV consultant today to find our more about availability for the particular RV you are interested in.

Forest City YMCA

YMCA-sign-cropped

Forest City is proud to be one of the smallest communities in the United States to offer a full service YMCA facility. The Forest City Y offers family-oriented fun and a state-of-the-art facility that includes a cardio room, racquetball courts, large gymnasium, pool, spa and track.

The Forest City Y serves people and families of all ages, income levels, and physical condition; with emphasis on responsibility and self improvement.

The Forest City YMCA opened its doors in February 1987 thanks to the vision and generosity of John K. and Luise Hanson. As a child, John K. Hanson, Winnebago Industries founder, learned to swim at a YMCA facility. This impacted him and as Winnebago grew, he wanted the community he loved to benefit from a facility that everyone could enjoy regardless of income level, age or physical condition. He turned that vision into reality and began the process of establishing a YMCA in Forest City.

John K. and Luise gifted the necessary funds to build the building which houses the Y and Hanson Field House for Waldorf College. The community rallied around their generosity through an effort called “Help us Open the Doors” which raised funds to equip the facility.

Knowing that the YMCA was in a small community, the Hansons’ established an endowment fund to ensure the longevity of the Y in Forest City. This endowment keeps membership rates at affordable levels. An annual support campaign is also conducted to provide financial assistance to those in need.

The Civilian Conservation Corps constructed several structures in 1934. The entrance portals, stone shelter, three stone bridges, amphitheater and observation tower are all listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The observation tower is 30 feet tall and was supposed to be 40 feet tall but winter set in and the CCC had to stop construction.

Pilot Knob is listed in the Iowa Wildlife Viewing Guide. The park is a wonderful area for bird watching, particularly during migrations. Deer and turkeys are prevalent and readily seen. Turkeys were reintroduced into the area in 1979 and have flourished. Much of the wildlife can be seen while walking the thirteen and one half miles of trail through the park.

The park has excellent trails for hikers and horseback riders. Equestrians can enjoy the eight miles of trail allowed for horseback riding. Winter activities include cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, hiking and snowmobiling. There are no overnight accommodations for equestrian riders.

Hidden within the 700 acre park and enclosed abrupt banks is the Dead Man’s Lake, a four acre floating sphagnum bog, the only one of its kind in Iowa. The bog is home to many unique species, one of which is the carnivorous sundew plant. Adjacent to the bog is a four acre lake. Because of its high acidity only specially adapted species can survive in the lake.

Debunking RV buying myths: How Lichtsinn RV is Different From The Rest

Winnebago RV Production Quality Advantages

Family is central to Lichtsinn RV’s success

Ron and Hope Lichtsinn with their first son Ryland in 2001, the year Ron and Hope moved to Forest City to grow their family and business.
Ron and Hope Lichtsinn with their first son Ryland in 2006.   The Lichtsinns moved to Forest City to raise their family and grow their business.

A family affair

What started as a small-town car dealership in Forest City, Iowa, has grown to be the largest Winnebago dealership in North America for six years running.  This unlikely success story has family at its roots.

Ron Lichtsinn Sr. founded the dealership in 1976.  Lichtsinn Motors sold a broad line of GM vehicles before they began selling Winnebago conversion vans in 1979 after a handshake deal with Winnebago founder John K. Hanson.

Lichtsinn’s son, Ron Lichtsinn II met his future wife, Hope, while they studied at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa in the early 90’s.  Ron graduated with a degree in accounting and Hope with a degree in business management.

After returning to Iowa after a successful career in corporate mergers and acquisitions Ron Lichtsinn II worked side-by-side with his father for a couple of years after Ron and Hope bought the dealership.

Ron Lichtsinn Sr. and Ron II at Lichtsinn Motors in 2002.

The Lichtsinns had a plan

Ron and Hope set out to disrupt the RV Sales industry by building an advanced dealership and content marketing system.  These processes would support rapid growth, responsiveness and strong guest communications with a focus of guest service at its core.  This system has allowed them to provide an unparalleled guest experience throughout the United States and Canada.

Ron was also an early adopter of internet technology.   He set up some of the first RV-related online forums on Yahoo Groups.  The Lichtsinn RV YouTube channel has more than 20,000 followers. Hope delivers creative messaging to prospective guests through search engines and social marketing.

They built an expansive 26,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility in 2014 and more than quadrupled the size of their original team.

Not only has the dealership become the top volume Winnebago dealer in North America; they also have had the number one Winnebago Parts Department for over 20 years and have been awarded the coveted Flying W Customer Service Satisfaction Award for 27 consecutive years.  Lichtsinn RV has also have been recognized as the top volume Motorhome Dealer in Iowa for the past 19 years.

A great employer for families

At the core of the business is a strong connection to family.  Ron and Hope Lichtsinn aren’t the only pair at Lichtsinn RV.   Out of almost fifty employees – eight are married couples.  There are also pairs of siblings and many other family connections too.

These connections help Lichtsinn RV have a strong foundation that is instrumental to the success of the business.  If the dealership does well, everyone does well.

“We encourage family members to join our team where it makes sense. From insurance to balancing schedules, we look at the family members to try and ensure we are providing their families the life experience they will look back on and be proud of. “

Ron and Hope Lichtsinn have worked hard to make Lichtsinn RV a great employer for families.

“Hope and I realize family is everything, our families and loved ones are the reason we get up each day and work to provide them the things we’d like them to have and the ability to do things together we want to,” Ron says, “We try and take the same approach as we look to our employees.”

This family environment is not only felt by other team members but also by their guests.

“Our guests contact us about their dreams for an RV experience that will allow them to spend more time with family and loved ones.”

Planning for the future

Even though the Lichtsinns have accomplished the goal of becoming the largest Winnebago dealership in the country they aren’t stopping now.

The company, along with the entire RV industry, has seen unprecedented growth during the pandemic.

Progress is underway to continue to expand the dealership to accommodate exponential growth in the parts and service departments in recent years.

There are also plans to further develop the Lichtsinn RV digital and social media presence.

What family-owned means for you

Since the Lichtsinn family name hangs on the business, Ron and Hope hold the highest expectations for quality and professionalism within the company.

Unlike at the national mega-store RV dealers that litter the nation’s interstates there is also a real sense of pride in the company.  Lichtsinn RV is made up of a family of individuals that deeply care about the success of the company and each other. When you work for Lichtsinn RV it’s not just a job, it’s a career.

Lichtsinn RV is better than a corporate-owned store precisely because they are smaller.   They care about their guests and their reputation.

That’s how the company has set the customer service standard for the RV sales industry and as a result has grown to be the largest volume dealer for Winnebago in North America six years running.
