The Winnebago Travato was built for four season adventure! Spring to Winter, the Travato has features that help you make the most of your van regardless of the season. Read about some of the key features that enable your Travato adventures year-round below:
Truma Combi Eco Plus Heating System – The Truma Combi Eco Plus Heating System found in the Winnebago Travato is a furnace and water heater all in one. In the summer, you can run this 2.6 gallon quick recovery system as just a water heater, but in cooler climates you can run both the furnace, with the Truma Combi’s (2) 850-watt heating elements, and the water heater. The Truma Combi heater is ultra quiet, economical to run, and will keep your Travato comfortable during cooler temperatures.
Winterization Package including Above Floor Waterlines – The Winterization package included in the Winnebago Travato includes a water heater bypass valve and siphon tube coupled with above floor waterlines. By keeping the waterlines above the floor, you can use water in lower outside temperatures as the water lines will maintain warmth longer than being exposed underneath the coach.
Heated tanks – To accompany the above-floor waterlines, the Winnebago Travato includes heated drainage tanks. The heated tanks alleviate concerns about the contents in your Travato drainage tanks freezing.
Upgraded Roof and Sidewall Insulation – The Winnebago Travato features upgraded, automotive-grade foam insulation in the roof and the sidewalls for improved thermal control and sound reduction while traveling. The improved insulation, coupled with above floor waterlines and the Truma Combi Eco Plus system will keep your lines warm in cooler temperatures.
Coleman-Mach 10 NDQ AC – In warmer climates, the Coleman-Mach 10 NDQ air conditioner is a high-efficiency and ultra-quiet air conditioner that will keep your coach cool and comfortable. This A/C includes directional vents, a built-in thermostat with auto mode and can be Bluetooth controlled through your smart phone or tablet. The NDQ A/C significantly reduces the draw on coach power compared to previous models.
Roll-up Rear and Side Screen Doors – The Winnebago Travato comes with the roll-up rear and side screen doors. This screen doors are incredibly sturdy and allow for users to circulate air through their coach without fear of insects entering or pets and children escaping. The screen door is held in place by a strong magnetic closure.
Optional Dual-Pane Acrylic Windows – The dual pane windows are an option in the Travato and include screen and blackout cassette shades to further keep your Travato temperature comfortable and consistent. The Travato also has standard insulated rear window zipper coverings to further provide thermal insulation inside your Travato.
Pure3 Energy Management System – The Winnebago Travato 59KL and 59GL include the Pure3 Energy Management System. This system includes a 3-module (9,600 usable watt-hours) Lithium-Ion energy pack with an energy pack heating system and 3,600-watt pure sine inverter. The energy pack is watertight, durable and includes steel housing (the safest on the market. ) This system also includes a second dedicated under-hood alternator powered by the chassis engine. Additional lithium power can be added to the Travato 59KL and 59GL. This would be a 4-module (12,800 usable watt-hours) Lithium-Ion energy pack. The Travato 59G and 59K models instead include a 2,800-watt Cummins Onan® gas generator, 2 deep-cycle Group 31 batteries and a 1,000-watt pure sine wave inverter.
SuperSprings® SumoSprings® – The Travato includes front and rear SumoSprings® which increase ride height and therefore improve stability.
Solar Panels – The Travato includes a 215-watt solar panel with solar charge controller w/junction box and plugs for additional solar panels.
RAM ProMaster Chassis – The Travato Chassis includes safety features that will help in stable and inclement weather including Blind Spot Monitoring with Cross Path Detection and Crosswind Assist.
