Mercedes-Benz VS30 Sprinter 4×4 Chassis with Advanced Safety Features
Taking full advantage of the proven 4×4 Mercedes Benz Sprinter chassis, the Revel’s 3.0 liter turbo diesel puts 325lbs ft of torque through an on demand 4WD system, complete with high and low range and hill descent mode for added off-road capability.
When Mercedes built the VS30 Sprinter Chassis, they didn’t just aim to set a new benchmark for vans – they set out to make one of the safest vans on the road, period. To accomplish this lofty goal, Mercedes brought all of their legendary knowledge, research and development to the task.
2,000-watt Inverter/Charger
The Revel is equipped with the Xantrex 2,000-watt inverter to provide whole coach electrical service, including the Coleman Mach 10 NDQ air conditioner and the induction cooktop.
Xantrex 320-amp-hour Lithium Ion Battery
The Revel comes standard with (1) Xantrex 320-amp-hour Lithium-Ion battery that provides 4,133 watt-hours and is easily accessed inside the van. The Revel also includes a dedicated second alternator to charge the system as well as a state of charge Battery Management System (BMS) that monitors voltage, amps, wattage, battery temperature, BMS temperature and power state management. The BMS system also includes internal heat for protection from the cold. An additional Lichtsinn RV installed battery may be added increasing total watt hours to 8,266.
Insulated/Heated Gray Water Holding Tank
One of the most innovative features of the Winnebago Revel is the four-season utility it offers. One of the ways the Revel accomplishes that with heated and insulated tanks and plumbing.
Luggage Rack and Movable Ladder
The Revel has an all-metal roof rack and a detachable, movable Ladder. The ladder allows access from various exterior locations around the coach.
Automotive Grade Insulation
The Winnebago Revel is equipped with automotive grade insulation in the roof, sidewall and floor. With an R-Value of 4.4 per square inch, the Winnebago Revel insulation is odor-free and won’t settle as you go off road and in loose terrain. In addition to this the wall insulation is wrapped in a vapor barrier for added protection. Foam laminate insulation is used in the floor of the Revel which provides an in-floor thermal break within the floor insultation. The Revel uses European-style canopy windows with dual pane like properties that include a thermal break and solar reflective property. The Winnebago Revel insulation is built for longevity of the RV.
All-in-One Gear Closet and Wet Bath with Cassette Toilet
The all-in-one bath and gear closet in the Revel boasts a cassette style toilet that eliminates the need for a separate black water holding tank.
Power Lift Bed with Gear Garage Below
Storage and living space are maximized with the Winnebago Revel power lift bed that converts to a 49 x 79 inch cross coach sleeping surface with a 140 cu. ft. gear garage below.
Portable Single Burner Induction Range Top
In the Revel’s galley, you will find a removable induction cooktop that can be used in our outside of the coach, a removable counter extension and a 3.0 cu. ft. (12V) compressor driven refrigerator and freezer that can be accessed from the inside or outside of the coach.
Heavy Duty Flooring Throughout
If your adventures take you somewhere snowy, dusty or muddy or anywhere else with messy terrain you will be glad to know the Revel has industrial, non-slip flooring over an insulated vapor barrier Plascore flooring to improve insulation.
