The Winnebago EKKO was designed specifically for the active outdoor enthusiasts. The Winnebago EKKO takes a no-nonsense approach to adventure with a straightforward design and function-driven features. Taking full advantage of the proven AWD Ford Chassis, the EKKOs 3.5L EcoBoost V6 Gas Engine with 10-speed automatic Selectshift transmission with overdrive lets you go where you want when you want to.
Combining the efficiency of a camper van and the capacity of a Class C coach, the EKKO takes the phrase ‘big things in small packages’ to a whole new level. From the massive heated pass-through gear garage – large enough to store bicycles, inflatable kayaks and other outdoor gear, to the large living, sleeping, and cooking space, the EKKO is sure to become your favorite adventure vehicle. This all-weather and all-season RV is built with adventure at its core and off-grid adventure on its mind.
One of the features that assists EKKO owners in staying “off the grid” for longer is the cassette toilet. A cassette toilet pairs the comfort of a permanent toilet with the convenience of a portable black tank.
The EKKOs cassette toilet is a portable tank that you can remove from your EKKO. The 5-gallon cassette in the Winnebago EKKO allows you to easily transport the tank. It is the size of a small suitcase and includes rollers to easily transport to your dumping location. This portable black tank can be emptied virtually anywhere—public restrooms, dump stations, etc. so you don’t need to rely on a dump station as you would with a black tank.
Simply remove the cassette from the locking side compartment, unlatch the handle and roll it to the dumping station. Moving inside to the bath, the swiveling toilet allows users to position the toilet for comfort. The operation of the cassette toilet when in use is very similar to other RV toilets.
The AWD EKKO is a power-house for rugged adventures and allows you to go off-grid when adventure awaits with features including the cassette toilet. Call Lichtsinn RV today to find out more about the Winnebago EKKO and the Winnebago EKKO Cassette-Style Toilet.
The Winnebago EKKO blends the off road rugged nomadic nature of van life with the storage and livability of traditional touring class motor homes. Automatic Rain Sensing Wipers – These wipers spring into action when they detect moisture on your windshield and then adjust their speed to deal with whatever the weather throws at you.
Wiper Activated Headlamps with High Beam Control – This driver-activated system scans the road at speeds above 25 miles per hour. When you are on a very dark road with no traffic, the high beamscome on. However, when a vehicle with its headlamps on is approaching up to 2,000 feet or traveling ahead of you with taillamps visible up to 500 feet, the system will dim to low beams to reduce glare and avoid hindering the other motorist.
Blind Spot Monitoring – This feature can help detect and alert you to vehicles in your blind spot and can detect traffic behind you when you’re slowly backing out of a parking spot or driveway.
OVERHEAD STORAGE – The overhead cab area of the EKKO features additional storage space and an optional 24″ HDTV.
